Applicants must be 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or equivalent & a valid driver’s license. Applicant must submit to and pass a criminal background check. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift work is required.
Positive communications related experience preferred. Knowledge of the county and certified Communications Officer through DCJS is preferred but not required. Data entry skills and ability to operate multiple computer terminals required.
The successful candidate must complete a Communications Basic Course (if not currently certified) and other mandated training.
